The International Filmmaker Festival of New York (IFFNY) has announced its Official Selection for its milestone 15th edition, celebrating another year of international cinema and artistic excellence.
For IFFNY 2026, the festival received an impressive 439 submissions from filmmakers around the world, ultimately selecting 61 projects representing 84 countries. Of these, 50 films will compete across various categories in the Official Competition, while 11 projects have been chosen for the newly introduced Spotlight Showcase, a non-competitive section dedicated to distinctive voices and innovative storytelling.
The selected films will also be featured through the festival’s online program, connecting filmmakers with audiences worldwide.
Marking 15 years of bringing cultures, creativity, and cinematic visions together, IFFNY continues to celebrate the universal language of film under its inspiring motto: “One World. Infinite Stories.”
