The International Screenwriting Competition (ISC) proudly announces the Open Call for its 12th Edition, inviting talented screenwriters from around the world to submit their original scripts and compete for prestigious awards and cash prizes.

Eligible Categories
- Feature Film Screenplays
- Short Film Screenplays
Script Requirements
All submitted scripts must be:
- Written in English
- Submitted in PDF format
- Original and unproduced
- Not adaptations or translations of existing works
Length requirements:
- Short Screenplays: Minimum 3 pages
- Feature Screenplays: Minimum 50 pages
Applicants must also submit a poster or image representing their script.
Multiple submissions are allowed, and applicants may enter more than one script in any chosen category.
Monetary Awards
ISC recognizes excellence in screenwriting through a variety of cash prizes:
- Best Screenplay for Feature Film – $1,000
- Best Screenplay for Short Film – $800
- Best Dialogue Maestro Award – $500
- Best Creative Visionary in Screenwriting – $500
- Best Masters of Scriptcraft Award – $500
- Best Original Screenplay – $500

Important Rules
- Scripts must be the original work of the applicant.
- Each submission requires the appropriate submission fee per entry.
- No revisions, replacements, or missing pages will be accepted after submission.
- Entry fees are non-refundable.
- Online submissions receive an automatic confirmation email.
- Awards are determined solely on the overall merit of each entry.
- Judges reserve the right not to grant an award.
- Writers are strongly encouraged to copyright their materials before submission.
In the case of co-written scripts, any monetary prize will be divided equally among the credited writers, and only one Typewriter Award will be provided.
ISC does not disclose judges’ identities, evaluation notes, feedback, selection procedures, or payout details beyond what is stated in the official rules and website.
Winners receiving cash prizes are solely responsible for any applicable local, state, or federal taxes.
