In a competitive world where trust and quality often fall short, Amanda Murray is changing the game. As CEO of Phoenix Cleaners and Champions Co-Host LLC, she’s not just running two growing companies—she’s building a nationwide movement focused on excellence, transparency, and heart-centered leadership.
Amanda’s companies have become trusted names in the vacation rental world, with Phoenix Cleaners setting the gold standard for short-term rental cleaning and Champions Co-Host providing full-service property management to hosts across the U.S. Her team is known for delivering flawless turnover service, responsive guest support, and seamless management solutions that allow property owners to grow with confidence.
But Amanda’s journey to success wasn’t a straight line. It was paved with late nights, sacrifice, heartbreak—and above all, determination.
Building a Business From Scratch—With Six Kids in Tow
Ten years ago, in Twentynine Palms, California, Amanda was a full-time mother to six beautiful children, a daycare owner, and a military spouse. To help provide for her family, she began cleaning homes at night after putting her children to bed.
Her work ethic and attention to detail quickly gained traction, and what started as a side hustle grew into a multi-location cleaning company serving short-term rentals throughout California. But when Amanda faced domestic violence and an exhausting battle in the family court system, she made the difficult decision to step back and focus on protecting her family—and helping others in similar situations.
“I had to close the doors on my company for a year,” Amanda recalls. “Not because I failed—but because I had to fight. I had to fight for my children. I had to fight a broken system. And I had to survive.”
A Comeback Fueled by Purpose
After facing legal battles that reached the U.S. Supreme Court and navigating the trauma of domestic violence as a military spouse, Amanda relocated to Florida to be closer to family and regain stability. There, she reopened her businesses with a new fire.
This time, she wasn’t just launching a cleaning company. She was building a national brand.
With Phoenix Cleaners, Amanda delivers immaculate, detail-driven turnover services tailored for Airbnb, Vrbo, and boutique vacation rentals. With Champions Co-Host, she goes further—offering a full-service property management solution for homeowners and real estate investors. Services include guest communication, booking management, maintenance coordination, listing optimization, VIP concierge packages, and more.
“We’re not just managing properties—we’re building partnerships,” Amanda says. “Champions Co-Host is dedicated to helping our clients grow by giving them peace of mind. Whether you own one rental or fifty, we treat your property like it’s our own.”
Her team works around the clock to ensure every client receives white-glove service, 5-star guest experiences, and support that goes above and beyond.
Innovating the Future of Hosting
Tired of watching homeowners and co-hosts lose income due to false guest complaints and unfair refund policies on mainstream platforms, Amanda is developing a new short-term rental app designed to protect hosts and property managers.
Her platform will combat price gouging, provide legal protections for owners, and ensure funds aren’t unfairly stripped due to fraudulent claims.
“It’s time someone built a system that works for the people actually doing the work,” Amanda says. “This app will put power back into the hands of hosts and managers who deserve to be protected.”
Advocating for Survivors & Fighting for Justice
Amanda’s mission extends far beyond business. As a survivor of domestic violence and a voice for change, she uses her platform to advocate for military spouses and others who are being silenced in family court. Her story has inspired women across the country—and she’s committed to being a resource for those navigating similar paths.
She continues to call for accountability in both the civilian and military justice systems, shedding light on abuse that too often goes ignored.
A Message to Every Woman Starting Over
Amanda’s message is clear and powerful:
In just one year, Amanda transformed her fear into fuel. Her comeback story is nothing short of extraordinary.
“Let me tell you a true story… she made it.”
These are the words Amanda holds close to her heart. They are a testament to her strength, her mission, and her message to every woman fighting a battle behind closed door:
“Never give up. Starting over is hard—but your future is still yours to build. Even when life knocks you down, you can still turn your dreams into reality. Just take the first step.”
With a heart for service and a fire for innovation, Amanda Murray is more than a CEO—she’s a changemaker. As she continues to expand Phoenix Cleaners and Champions Co-Host nationwide, launch her hosting platform, and advocate for justice, one thing is certain:
She’s just getting started.
Exclusive Interview with Amanda Murray
NY Glamour: Amanda, your journey from a military spouse and mother of six to a CEO of two thriving companies is remarkable. What was the moment that pushed you to take the leap and start cleaning homes at night?
Amanda: Honestly, it wasn’t one single moment—it was a breaking point. I had spent years as a military spouse and a mom to six children, holding everything together through deployments, moves, and hardships. But when life hit me with personal loss and financial instability, I realized waiting for circumstances to change wasn’t an option. I had to create the change.
One night, after putting my kids to bed, I grabbed a vacuum and some cleaning supplies and went to work. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was mine. Those late-night cleanings were more than just income—they were my first steps toward freedom, stability, and eventually building two thriving companies.
NY Glamour: Phoenix Cleaners has become a gold standard in short-term rental cleaning. What do you think sets your company apart in such a competitive market?
Amanda: What sets Phoenix Cleaners apart is our obsession with detail and consistency. In short-term rentals, guests notice everything—and so do we. We don’t just clean; we prepare homes to deliver a five-star guest experience every single time.
We’ve built a system where our teams are trained not only in cleaning but also in hospitality standards, staging, and quality control. We communicate directly with property owners and hosts, sending time-stamped photos after every job so there’s never a question about readiness.
In a market where turnover speed often takes priority, we’ve found the sweet spot—fast, efficient service without ever sacrificing quality. That’s why our clients trust us as partners, not just service providers.
Bottom of Form
NY Glamour: Champions Co-Host offers full-service property management across the U.S. What inspired you to expand beyond cleaning and into co-hosting?
Amanda: I expanded into co-hosting because our clients needed more than a clean—they needed a partner. As Phoenix Cleaners grew, hosts began asking for help with everything from guest communication to bookings. NY Glamour: Champions Co-Host was born to meet that need, offering a seamless, full-service solution that keeps properties guest-ready and owners stress-free, anywhere in the U.S.
NY Glamour: You’ve been open about surviving domestic violence and enduring a legal battle that reached the Supreme Court. How has that experience shaped you as an entrepreneur and leader?
Amanda: That experience stripped me down to my core and forced me to rebuild—not just my life, but my identity. Surviving domestic violence and enduring a legal battle all the way to the Supreme Court taught me perseverance on a level most people never have to imagine.
It showed me that leadership isn’t about titles or comfort—it’s about standing up, even when your knees are shaking, and refusing to be silenced. As an entrepreneur, I lead with empathy because I know what it’s like to fight for your life and your voice. I also lead with grit, because once you’ve faced that kind of adversity, business challenges become obstacles you will find a way around.
Those experiences didn’t break me—they built the foundation of the leader I am today.
Now, my focus is on building an app to compete with Airbnb—designed to empower hosts with better control and support. Beyond that, my next venture will be opening a domestic violence foundation to protect women and children around the world from abuse and to ensure they never have to stay silent. Whether a military spouse or a civilian, I will teach, advocate, and stand alongside women to show that just because we are broken to the core, it doesn’t mean we give up.
I want to help women instead of hearing stories of losing more lives to violence or witnessing them give up because the justice system is so broken that many lose hope. I want to be their voice.
NY Glamour: What were some of the biggest challenges you faced rebuilding your business after relocating to Florida—and how did you overcome them?
Amanda: Relocating to Florida presented several major challenges, especially rebuilding my business from the ground up in a new market. One of the biggest hurdles was establishing trust and credibility in a place where I had no prior network or reputation.
I overcame this by doubling down on exceptional service and communication. I made it a priority to listen carefully to clients’ needs and consistently exceed their expectations. Word of mouth became my strongest ally, and slowly but surely, the business grew through referrals and repeat customers.
Another challenge was navigating the different local regulations and market dynamics, which meant learning quickly and adapting my strategies. I embraced the mindset of a student, sought out mentors, and stayed flexible to adjust to Florida’s unique demands.
Ultimately, those challenges pushed me to become more resilient, innovative, and customer-focused—qualities that have made my companies stronger than ever.
NY Glamour: Your companies are rooted in heart-centered leadership. How do you instill that culture in your team and day-to-day operations?
Amanda: Heart-centered leadership is the foundation of everything we do at my companies. I believe that when people feel valued, heard, and supported, they naturally bring their best selves to work—and that translates directly into exceptional service for our clients.
To instill this culture, I lead by example every day—showing empathy, patience, and transparency in all my interactions. We prioritize open communication and create space for team members to share their ideas and challenges without judgment.
We also invest in ongoing training—not just on technical skills but on emotional intelligence and conflict resolution—because leadership isn’t just about tasks, it’s about people.
Ultimately, fostering a heart-centered culture means building a community where everyone feels connected to our mission and inspired to contribute their unique strengths. That’s what drives our success.
NY Glamour: Tell us about the short-term rental app you’re developing. What gaps in the current platforms are you aiming to fill?
Amanda: The short-term rental app we’re developing, Stayvvy.co, is designed with hosts at its core—addressing real pain points that current platforms often overlook. Many existing platforms prioritize guest experience but leave hosts juggling complicated communication, pricing, and property management tools that don’t integrate well.
Stayvvy.co simplifies and streamlines these processes by providing hosts with an all-in-one solution: from managing bookings and guest messages to coordinating cleaning and maintenance—all in one intuitive interface.
We’re also focused on giving hosts greater control and transparency, including real-time updates and detailed analytics to help optimize their business.
Importantly, Stayvvy.co is more affordable than Airbnb. Unlike Airbnb, which keeps increasing fees and often issues full refunds to guests based on false accusations—sometimes leaving hosts unprotected—we’re building a platform that protects homeowners and hosts, ensuring fairness and security for those who entrust us with their properties.
But Stayvvy.co isn’t just for rentals. It’s an all-in-one app that goes beyond short-term stays. From booking flights, cars, and yachts to ordering groceries before arrival, meal prep services, massages, and more—anything you can think of is just a click away.
Our mission is to create the ultimate convenience for travelers and hosts alike, making every trip seamless and stress-free by centralizing all essential services in one easy-to-use platform.

NY Glamour: How do you balance being a businesswoman, innovator, and advocate—all while being a mother?
Amanda: Balancing the roles of businesswoman, innovator, advocate, and mother is definitely challenging, but it’s also deeply fulfilling. For me, it comes down to intentionality and purpose. Every decision I make is guided by the why behind it—whether that’s building a company, creating new solutions, or standing up for women and children.
I also prioritize quality over quantity when it comes to time with my family. Being fully present in those moments, even if they’re brief, makes all the difference.
On the practical side, I’ve built a strong support system—both personally and professionally. My teams are empowered to take ownership, and I delegate effectively so I can focus on what only I can do.
Ultimately, I believe that when your work aligns with your values, it fuels your energy and resilience. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it.
NY Glamour: What advice would you give to women who are starting over after hardship or trauma?
Amanda: My advice to women starting over after hardship or trauma is simple but powerful: you are not alone, and your story is not over. Healing and rebuilding take time, so be patient and gentle with yourself.
Surround yourself with people who uplift and support you. Seek out resources, whether it’s therapy, mentorship, or community groups—whatever helps you feel seen and heard.
Most importantly, remember that your past does not define your future. You have the strength inside you to create a new chapter filled with hope, purpose, and joy.
There are three words that mean the world to me: a true story, “she made it.” Those words carry more weight than anything else. No matter how dark life may seem in any moment, you have to fight for what’s right. Nobody is perfect—we all make mistakes—but that does not mean we lose at life or give anyone permission to abuse us.
Keep fighting, even on the days when you’re curled up in bed crying, thinking the world is ending. I promise there is light at the end of the tunnel—and this moment right here, where you’re still standing, is that light.
NY Glamour: What has been the most rewarding moment in your career so far?
Amanda:The most rewarding moment in my career so far has been seeing the tangible impact my work has had on other women’s lives. Whether it’s empowering a fellow military spouse to find her voice, helping a single mom rebuild her financial independence, or simply hearing a client say that our service made their life easier—it reminds me why I started this journey.
Building successful businesses was never just about profits for me; it’s always been about creating opportunities and hope. Moments when I witness transformation, resilience, and growth in others are what truly fuel my passion and make every challenge worthwhile.
On a personal level, making it to the red-carpet event in November 2025 is a dream I’ve had forever—and now I can finally say, she made it.
My success is also about showing my children that I never gave up, even when I felt like I was drowning. They have pushed me further than I ever imagined possible. And my mom, Cynthia, who never left my side during the hardest struggles, had faith that I would be here today doing all this. Their love and belief in me are my greatest strengths.
NY Glamour: As someone passionate about justice reform, especially for military spouses, what changes would you like to see in the family court system?
Amanda: As someone deeply passionate about justice reform, especially for military spouses, I believe the family court system must urgently address the unique challenges faced by military families. These challenges include the impact of deployments, frequent relocations, and the tremendous stress military life places on relationships and parenting.
Courts need to prioritize the safety and well-being of children and survivors of abuse, adopting a zero-tolerance policy toward domestic violence. Military spouses often face significant barriers in accessing fair custody arrangements and protection orders, so reforms must ensure their rights and voices are fully respected and protected.
Moreover, greater accountability and transparency in family court proceedings are essential. Judges and attorneys should receive training on military culture and trauma-informed practices to prevent the dismissal or minimization of abuse claims.
But beyond reform, I demand justice. Every judge and attorney who has filed false documents to steal children from victims, placing them with their abusers, must be held accountable and punished. This broken system has led to unimaginable harm—children subjected to further abuse or even losing their lives. Victims lose custody simply because they fled abuse, and that is unacceptable.
Family courts operate in many ways outside the bounds of the law and constitutional rights. No parent’s rights should be stripped away without clear and proven evidence of unfitness. These rights are God-given and protected by the Constitution, yet too often ignored.
This is a global crisis in our courtrooms—a systemic failure that demands urgent change. My commitment is to fight tirelessly for a family court system that serves justice fairly, protects the vulnerable, and honors those who serve or support our country.

NY Glamour: Looking ahead, what’s your vision for Phoenix Cleaners, Champions Co-Host, and your new app in the next five years?
Amanda: Looking ahead, my vision for Phoenix Cleaners, Champions Co-Host, Stayvvy.co, and my new foundation is to create a holistic ecosystem of empowerment, innovation, and justice.
Phoenix Cleaners will continue to expand its footprint, delivering unparalleled cleaning services that set the industry standard for quality and reliability.
Champions Co-Host aims to become the premier full-service property management platform, empowering hosts nationwide with cutting-edge tools for bookings, guest communication, and property care.
Stayvvy.co is poised to revolutionize the travel and rental experience by combining affordability, convenience, and safety—offering everything from flights and car rentals to groceries and wellness services at the tap of a button, while protecting hosts with fair and transparent policies.
In January 2026, I will proudly launch my domestic violence foundation, dedicated to protecting women and children from abuse and the failures of a broken justice system. The foundation’s goal is to provide advocacy, education, and resources that empower survivors and push for accountability within family courts and legal institutions. It will serve as a beacon of hope and a catalyst for change, ensuring that no one has to suffer in silence or face injustice alone.
Together, these ventures represent my commitment to building businesses and initiatives that not only succeed financially but also create lasting positive impact in communities and lives around the world.
