Ricardo B’atz’ for “HOY”/El Salvador wins at 11th Edition of International Filmmaker Festival of New York

“In the capital of El Salvador, the drivers of a bus, a taxi, a minibus and a private car confront the ravages of 12 years of civil war that continue to torment the country.”

Ricardo B’atz’ was born in Sensuntepeque, El Salvador, on August 31, 1986. He studied the Bachelor of Modern Languages at the University of El Salvador and then a Master’s Degree in Intercultural Relations at the University of Lille in France . The movie TODAY (HOY) is his first feature film as a director which is currently in the post-production phase. He has also participated as a main actor in the short series ” El Sindrome de Piter Pan “and as a secondary actor in the movie ” La Travesía “. He has also produced and co-written the short film ” La Partida “
