Cinematographer Aki Huttunen wins Best Cinematography Award at 11th Edition of International Filmmaker Festival of New York with “Northren Quality” from Finland

“A Finnish farming family struggles to make ends meet. With the promise of an end to their financial strife, they switch crops to a field of cannabis. But their problems have only begun.”

Aki Huttunen has worked in several Film Companies in Finland in different kind of tasks since 2008. He has a big knowledge of all parts of film producing. As a Steadicam operator and 1st camera assistant he is being seen in “Teit meistä kauniin” and as a cameraman he is being seen in Documentary Movies “Rouva Presidentti” and “Presidentintekijät”. He was the first Combat Camera soldier in Finnish Military 2010-2011 and has been in Peacekeeping Operation in Somalia, Africa against the piracy. Today he works for TV Shows and TV Commercials in company called Optipari Oy as a director/cameraman/editor.
