Exclusive interview with Hunter Freedom – Actor & Screenwriter
Hunter Freedom is an American actor and screenwriter from Fernley, NV. Born in Reno, NV
alongside his older twin brother Roman. Hunter Freedom Porterfield grew up in love with
movies, and after seeing Iron Man he decided that he would be an actor and eventually play a
superhero. As he got older his passion for movies grew and he started coming up with his own
ideas for movies. When Hunter got into high school he was diagnosed with Epilepsy, but he
didn’t let that stop him, he kept acting in, and co-directing a few plays, and outlining the movies
in his head. After graduating in 2020 Hunter decided to take a gap year because of covid. In
2021 Hunter started college as a screenwriting major. Now feeling like his career was finally
starting Hunter felt like he was missing apart of himself. Having felt insecure about his body for
a long time, Hunter began working out. Hunter’s advanced academic career didn’t last too long
though because after just a semester Hunter Freedom dropped out of college because he
couldn’t wait to start his career, so he started writing the project he’d been thinking about for
10 years. in January of 2022 Hunter started writing his first script an action/comedy titled “The
Club Can’t Handle Us”. After 8 months of rewriting the first 10 pages Hunter scrapped it all and
moved to Florida with his twin. With the stress of not having a job. Hunter began writing again
and finished in September. In present day Hunter is now 100lbs. down, is a finalist in the ISC,
has his own IMDb profile and is doing as much as he can to further his career.
