Shotgun Wedding is an upcoming American romantic comedy action film directed by Jason Moore from a screenplay by Mark Hammer and Liz Meriwether. The film stars Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel.
Darcy and Tom get their lovable but very opinionated families for the ultimate destination wedding just as the couple get cold feet. But suddenly everyone’s lives are in danger when the entire party is taken hostage. The couple must work together to save their loved ones — if they don’t end up killing each other first.

The film was first announced on January 29, 2019, with Ryan Reynolds attached to star, Pitch Perfect’s Jason Moore directing and Mark Hammer writing the screenplay alongside Liz Meriwether. Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman of Mandeville Films would produce the film alongside Reynolds through his production company Maximum Effort.Lopez, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, and Benny Medina joined as producers of the film through Nuyorican Productions in October 2020.
The film is scheduled to be released theatrically on June 29, 2022.
