New York City\u2019s outdoor public pool season<\/a> starts Saturday in a return to its normal schedule after last summer\u2019s delayed openings<\/a> due to the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Masks are now required for all people entering the facilities at the city’s 53 outdoor pools<\/a> and while in locker rooms, bathrooms, and on the pool deck, according to the city Parks Department<\/a>. Masks should not be worn while swimmers are in the actual pool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n New York State’s beaches and pools<\/a>, including the pool at Roberto Clemente State Park<\/a> in the Bronx and Denny Farrell Riverbank<\/a> State Park in Harlem also opened Memorial Day weekend, with six-foot distancing<\/a>.
