Nothing has been normal at Times Square for more than a year since COVID-19 officially arrived in New York in March 2020. Within weeks, the area\u2019s hustle and bustle was replaced with the sound of silence \u2014 the streets empty of pedestrian and vehicular traffic, businesses shuttered and Broadway theaters dark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
