Back then the biggest entertainment we had as kids was the TV watching\ncartoons. In my case, I would watch them daily and then perform them in front\nof the mirror. I believe the passion for acting was born within me.&nbsp; In the following years, this passion became\nstronger till the point that I got completely immersed in all aspects of\nperformance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What are you currently working on? <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Xhustin\nKristian:<\/strong> It has been a really\ntough year because of Covid, so for now I am just trying to gain energy and\ncreativity, in the meantime I am waiting for the next project, the feature\nfilm: &#8220;Bastard&#8221;. &nbsp;<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tell\nus a little bit more about this film, what is it about, who else are you\nworking with, and who is the director?&nbsp; <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Xhustin\nKristian:<\/strong> The director is Tony\nSchweikle. Because of Covid-19, the project is making slow progress. \u201cBastard,\u201d\nan award-winning screenplay, has been in 18 festivals so far such as: Montreal Independent\nFilm Festival (semi-finalist), Venice Film Festival, NYC Tri-State Intl. Film\nFestival, Beverly Hills Film Festival (Finalist). What are some of the challenges\nand difficulties you have faced during the pandemic? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Xhustin\nKristian:<\/strong> Covid made a\nbig impact on the global economy this year, and there are more setbacks that we\nwill experience.&nbsp; The film industry is\none of the most impacted ones. A lot of projects have been either canceled or\npostponed. Finding work during the pandemic was really hard. Also working on\nthese special conditions tend to reduce the efficiency during the performance.\nThe art itself is expression and interaction, in one form or another, but it\nneeds to be shown to the public and under &#8220;social distance&#8221; rules\nthis mission became almost impossible.&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What television shows or show would you love most to be on?<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Xhustin\nKristian:<\/strong> Those ones that makes\nme travel through time, either back in the history or into the future. I always\nenjoyed the experience of working in a set far from reality.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>If you\nweren\u2019t acting what would you be doing?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Xhustin\nKristian:<\/strong> Dancing, I guess. I\ncan&#8217;t stay away of performances. I love music so dancing comes naturally to me.\nRather than that anything related with traveling would be perfect. Even though\nI am flexible in many aspects of life, I have realized that I don\u2019t do well\nwith routine and closed spaces for a prolonged amount of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What&#8217;s your goal for this coming year?<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Xhustin\nKristian:<\/strong> I recently moved to US\nso for this coming year I would like to get in the industry as much as I can.\nThe first steps are always the most difficult ones so I will do my best to have\na good start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What\nis your advice for aspiring actors? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Xhustin\nKristian:<\/strong> Believe\nin yourself and your passion.&nbsp; Work for\nit tirelessly, never give up, and one day all that you wished to achieve will\nbe realized. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Critically acclaimed director Xhustin Kristian when he is behind the lens, he creates masterpieces.
