Business and sports have a lot in common, they are both demanding, competitive and require a strong mindset. World class athlete Alex Folacci brought his competitive drive and get-it-done mindset to the world of business. Alex has two national championships victories in France in Decathlon. After moving to New York Alex Folacci continues to dominate the field. He launched three successful companies, investing in fitness, real estate and 3D photography. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tell\nus about you and your entrepreneurial endeavors. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex\nFolacci:<\/strong> I come\nfrom France and I have been living in NYC since 2014. I am passionate about\nEntrepreneurship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before\ncoming to the USA, I was a world class athlete and 2-time National Champion of\nFrance in the Decathlon (Track & Field). I became a private trainer for\nhigh-end clients in 2015, and I have coached over 300 clients so far. I\nreceived the New York Award for Personal Training in 2019 and 2020, which is a\nvery nice recognition for my work and passion of coaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\nhave 3 other companies. A brand of fitness equipment and apparel called RAPIDE\n(designed in 2017). A Real Estate Investment company where I buy and fix\nproperties and find tenants. The latest business I launched in 2020 is 3D Scan\nManhattan. I am a 3D photographer and have worked right away with the biggest\ncompanies in NYC and shot over $1Billion worth of real estate in 2020. I create 3D virtual tours of luxury\napartments and o\ufb03ce spaces, so potential buyers and tenants can visit the\nspaces virtually from their computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have 2 new great business ideas for 2021, but I keep them secret for now! Only in America you can launch a new business each year and be successful, that is why I am so happy to be living in this country!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your philosophy in life?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex Folacci:<\/strong> My philosophy is to always do\nsomething that scares you, and to go after opportunities all the time. I learn\nnew skills all the time, to become more marketable, and to be ready when big\nopportunities come my way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have my vision, and map out my\nnext 5 moves, and work relentlessly until I achieve my goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also love mentoring and helping\nother small business owners and Entrepreneurs. So far, I have mentored about 10\nfriends, helping them with their website, marketing, brand building,\nadvertising, cash-flow management, investment opportunities, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a personal trainer, do you have\nexperience with a particular\ndemographic?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex Folacci: <\/strong>I can coach anybody, but I specialized in gentlemen over 35, highly successful and busy with their career, and need help to lose 20-40lbs, build lean muscles, improve posture, energy level, and self-confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a personal trainer,\nhow do you motivate your clients?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex\nFolacci:<\/strong> By yelling\nreally loud and threatening them to do 50 burpees if they are lazy. Just\nkidding! I adjust my coaching style to every client’s personality in order to\nhave the best results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can you teach any fitness classes?<\/strong> <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex\nFolacci:<\/strong> As a trainer, I don\u2019t teach group\nclasses. I only take 1-on-1 clients (sometimes couples), and I have a very\ndetailed and individual approach. I am almost like a doctor, finding every\nproblem and offering individualized solutions for each client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What projects have been your favorites that you have been a part of and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex\nFolacci:<\/strong> I love\nbringing a client from 200 to 170lbs. It seems like 30lbs of fat disappeared,\nbut in reality he lost 45lbs of fat and built 15lbs of muscles. I do very deep transformation\nfocusing on reducing the fat percentage, increasing muscle density, improving\nposture and range of motion, and fixing the diet and lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The coaching part includes Powerlifting, bodybuilding, mobility\/flexibility, running, mixed martial arts (boxing, wrestling, jujitsu, kickboxing), gymnastics, abs\/core, calisthenics, CrossFit. I coach my clients like high level athletes, with a linear progression. I also try to teach them everything that can make them live longer, such as cold showers, oxygen chambers, intermittent fasting, getting the heart rate at 170bpm at least once a week, and to live a stress-free life. I want to keep them happy with the variety of training exercises and keep them injury free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the biggest lesson you have learned in your career?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex\nFolacci:<\/strong> I have\nlearned that if I offer an amazing service quality to my customers, they will\nalways come back and refer me to their friends. That is how you create a\nsuccessful business. I am very proud to have 5 stars rating on every platforms!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are your personal\nfitness and goals?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex Folacci:<\/strong> I want to be strong, fast, and flexible until I\u2019m 120 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
