<\/figure>\n\n\n\nNY Glam: What projects are you currently working on?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I am a Engineering\nprofessional with 2 amazing kids. Our lives are really hectic and busy. But I\ncannot not pursue my artistic endeavors. I put myself a goal few years ago to\ndo at least one project every year and I have done 4 short films since (one every\nyear). This year is my fifth of that promise and working on my fifth short film\ncalled \u201cGinger\u201d, a short story about a fish called Ginger. <\/p>\n\n\n\n NY Glam: What makes a film great for you? Are there\ncertain qualities that make a film better for you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n A film that touches deeper\nemotions, a story that has a good plot and which inspires to apply in real life\nis what I look in a film. Film makers are entertainers and if all the qualities\nand entertainment combines to impress me, I give it a five star and recommend\nall over my posts. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n NY Glam: As a screenwriter, what is the most important\naspect of building a character? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The most important aspect\nI think is to build weaknesses while building a character. I feel that while\nthe actor conquers each of his\/her weaknesses through the story, the audience\nconnect more and more to the character. <\/p>\n\n\n\n NY Glam: Top 3 favorite projects that you have been\ninvolved in?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I have only done 4\nprojects so far<\/p>\n\n\n\n My most favorite is the\nmusic video project called \u201cKala\u201d (ART). I\nwrote the lyrics in Telugu language and composed the tune for the film. It is a\nstory about domestic violence and 2 dancers – A flamenco dancer and an Indian\nclassical dancer who become friends. We released the project in 3 different\nlanguages – Telugu, Spanish and Marati, and that journey in itself was\ndifficult but worth exploring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n My second favorite is my\nfirst project called \u201cSamskruthi\u201d. I took a small gesture at Indian temples and\nfilmed a good message short film. <\/p>\n\n\n\n NY Glam: Do you express yourself creatively in any\nother ways?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I am a guitarist, song\nwriter and composer. I am also a trained Indian Classical Dancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I feel combining music,\ndance and my life\u2019s experiences and giving it a platform of film making, has\ngiven me a new world to express. I am so thankful to my family and friends who\nsupport me on this journey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n NY Glam: What advice would you give to someone who\nwants to have a career in filmmaking?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Update your skills in\nalmost all of the 24 crafts to be able to communicate with your team\neffectively, work on your story telling process as story is the core of any\nfilm made ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n NY Glam: What can we expect from you in 2020?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Currently working on my\n5th project.
