Can you tell us about the film\nand the process of making it?<\/strong><br>\n<em>Thank you, my film is called \u201cLife in 2\nMinutes\u201d, it\u2019s a personal project about how I see life in 2 minutes, in a very\nsimple treatment, collecting home videos from close people, them shooting some\nmore shots, and combining everything in a 2 minutes film.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NY Glam:<\/strong><strong> How did you go about casting for the film?<\/strong><br>\n<em>As I already mentioned, this film is made\nout of \u201cMemories\u201d and \u201cSouvernirs\u201d so no casting happened, the people involved\nin the film are people I know, friends and family.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NY Glam:<\/strong><strong> What is the\nstory about and how did you achieve it cinematically?<\/strong><br>\n<em>The story follows a tooth, we born and we\ncelebrate the first tooth until we lose that tooth, some shots filmed in the\npresent time, some other memories shot on old camera or phones.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NY Glam: Will you be attending the IFFNY festival in New York\nin May?<\/strong><br>\n<em>I still don\u2019t know! How did that lesson happen?<\/strong><br>\n<em>The most important lesson is to learn\nthat we should do films no matter what, films are the most sacred form of self\nexpression, this film is a tribute to my father, whom I lost couple of years\nago, I did this film out of anger, love, and a need to have answers from life,\nso the great lesson was to see films as form of art therapy!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NY Glam:<\/strong><strong> Is it harder to get started or to keep\ngoing? What was the particular thing that you had to conquer to do either?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>I think it\u2019s harder to keep going, as starting will\ndefinitely happen, I feel like a passionate filmmaker will definitely learn how\nto start: holding a camera and telling a story, what\u2019s hard is to keep going.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NY Glam:<\/strong><strong> How has your style evolved?<\/strong><br>\n<em>I think I\u2019m in the most mature phase now,\nI feel like my style now is a bit darker if I might say!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NY Glam:<\/strong><strong> What has been your personal key to success? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Patience.<br> <br><\/em><strong>NY Glam:<\/strong><strong> What are you\nthinking about doing next?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>My\nnext project is called \u2018The Fear Of Fear\u201d and I cannot wait for its release!<br>\n<br>\n<\/em><strong>NY Glam:<\/strong><strong> Where does your studio want to go from here? &nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>I\nlove to think that life hides surprises for us, and I\u2019m\nexcited for whatever it holds for me!<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Exclusive Interview with Filmmaker Elie Fahed NY Glam: Congratulations on being accepted at the prestigious International Filmmaker Festival of New York.
