The International Filmmaker Festival of New York (IFFNY)<\/strong> has announced its Official Selection for its milestone 15th edition, celebrating another year of international cinema and artistic excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For IFFNY 2026, the festival received an impressive 439 submissions from filmmakers around the world<\/strong>, ultimately selecting 61 projects representing 84 countries<\/strong>. Of these, 50 films will compete across various categories in the Official Competition, while 11 projects have been chosen for the newly introduced Spotlight Showcase<\/strong>, a non-competitive section dedicated to distinctive voices and innovative storytelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The selected films will also be featured through the festival\u2019s online program, connecting filmmakers with audiences worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marking 15 years of bringing cultures, creativity, and cinematic visions together, IFFNY continues to celebrate the universal language of film under its inspiring motto: \u201cOne World. Infinite Stories.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
