Gentleman adventurer Phileas Fogg sets out on a quest to travel around the world and back home in a period of 80 days.

Production companies Slim Film + Television and Federation Entertainment confirmed the series will return for another season, and also unveiled another Jules Verne adaptation, “Journey to the Centre of the Earth,” with Pharoah also on board as showrunner.

For British viewers, the series will form part of the Christmas TV schedule, airing a double bill on Boxing Day. The first two episodes will air on BBC One on December 26 at 5.50pm and 6.40pm. For viewers in the US, they will have to wait until 8pm ET on January 2, 2022.
